Design And Implementation Of An ESP32-Based Smart Home Automation System With Environmental Monitoring And Automated Controls
IOSR Journal of Electronics and Communication Engineering (IOSR-JECE)
Nov 2024
Published
Developed an ESP32-based smart home automation system integrating environmental monitoring, device control, and automated safety features, accessible through a mobile application over Wi-Fi.
The system manages household components such as relay-controlled bulbs and fans, motion-sensor lights, and automated nightlights. Environmental sensors, including DHT22 for temperature/humidity and MQ2/MQ135 for gas detection, provide real-time safety alerts. Smart gardening is supported via soil moisture sensors and submersible pumps for automated irrigation. Overheat protection ensures safe operation by automatically adjusting device activity. All functionality is accessible and controllable via a mobile app with real-time monitoring capabilities, demonstrating the potential of ESP32 in intelligent home environments.

Scalable Microservices Architecture for Real-Time Data Processing
IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing
2022
Submitted
Framework for building scalable microservices that handle millions of events per second.
Presents a novel architecture pattern for building event-driven microservices with guaranteed message ordering and exactly-once processing semantics. Demonstrates 5x throughput improvement over traditional approaches.
